What?! Yes. What could make unhealthy cookies even better? Deep fry that shit!
Start out by making the Greatest GD Chocy Chip Cookie (Dough) Ever, ball them into nice, smooth, 1" balls. Everyone wants smooth balls. Put them in the freezer for 30min to an hour. You don't want them frozen, just crusted. Frozen causes. . . problems. I'll just say 'problems'. Don't freeze them all the way (they fucking explode, it's bad)
While you're freezing your balls off, start the rest:

Ingredients
1 1/4 cup flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup sugar
1 cup milk (maybe a splash more for texture)
Melted chocolate, or chocolate syrup to drizzle over top once fried, and/or powdered sugar.
Oil for frying (I use peanut oil)
Okay, how do I do this?
Get your oil hot. 350 - 375
Sift together your flour, baking soda and salt. Stir in sugar. Add milk & whisk like a mother fucker until silky smooth, zero lumps. You don't want the texture too runny, but it needs to flow off of the whisk decent. I can't describe it. . . just make it right. There, how's that?
Take your chilly balls and dip them in the batter, roll 'em around good so they are fully coated. I use a fork to let a little excess drip back into the bowl, then lower into hot ass oil. I do about 4 balls at a time, rolling them over as they cook, about 3min each, until golden brown.
Get 'em out of the oil, onto a napkin, dust with powdered sugar & drizzle in chocolate. The dough will be gooey in the middle if you did it right, and stoooopid hot. That's it. Make like 3 dozen of them, because they're gonna go fast.
Best served around a fire on the porch with friends (if you have any)
